Colin began his aviation career jumping out of helicopters while serving in the Marine Corps. He then became a St. Louis County Police Officer where he was trained to fly airplanes and then helicopters for the force. After leaving the Police Department, Colin spent four years as an FAA Inspector. Colin has worked for multiple Part 135 operators flying both helicopters and fixed wing aircraft; for the past twenty years he has flown with EMS, airborne news, and charter services with titles including Line Pilot, Check Airman, Director of Training, and Chief Pilot. Colin is currently an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner in both helicopters and airplanes.
