Brief info

Doug earned his A&P from Belleville Area College (now SWIC) in 1986, and he became an A&P-IA in 2001. He has been a fixture in the St. Louis aviation maintenance world, working at Boeing, TWA, Flight Express and others before joining Ideal in 2012. Doug is factory trained in Cirrus and Diamond aircraft, and he has extensive experience with Cessnas, Pipers, Beachcraft, and other makes. Doug also earned his private pilot’s license in 2009! In addition to being an excellent mechanic, Doug has a natural desire to serve – he bends over backwards to make sure our customers are happy with the work performed on their planes.
