Bill Macon

Managing Director

Bill comes from a family with a long history of aviation in St. Louis and began his flight training when he acquired Ideal Aviation in 2011.
Kimberly Nagel

Director of Administration

Kimberly brings more than 14 years of industry experience in management, leadership, and hands-on operations. She has flown a wide variety of aircraft, including an airship. Most of all, she enjoys helping students achieve their dreams while building strong teams, improving operations, and creating an environment where people and the business can thrive.
Josh F.

Chief Flight Instructor, CFI, MEI, CFII

Josh Faibisoff is the Chief Flight Instructor. He started flying gliders in 1983 and has been flying ever since. He is a CFI, MEI and CFII for both airplanes and helicopters and loves to teach people how to fly. He has been actively instructing since 2015 and joined Ideal Aviation in 2021. He has logged PIC time in dozens of different aircraft types, both old and new. He is also building an aerobatic biplane.

Chase loves helping students reach their aviation goals and become safe, confident pilots. In addition to teaching, he oversees flight operations and instructors, helping maintain a strong culture of safety, professionalism, and compliance across the company.
